Real teachers. Real passion. Real Italian.

We know that the best learning happens when you feel connected — to your teacher, to the culture, and to yourself.

At Italingva, we believe that learning a language means learning to think and feel in a new way

we are
That’s why our teachers are not just native speakers — they are passionate guides who open the door to the Italian way of life, culture, and mindset.

Each of us brings something unique: humor, curiosity, and a genuine love for human connection.

And because we know that personality matters, you can meet every teacher through a short video — to feel who they are before your first lesson even begins.

Elena

Founder & CEO of Italingva
Elena is the heart of Italingva — the person who gave this school its voice, warmth, and way of looking at the Italian language.

A linguist specialized in Italian and a methodologist with over 20 years of teaching experience, she has guided thousands of learners into the world of Italian — gently, attentively, and with a deep respect for each person’s story.
Language is not just what you say. It’s how you see the world
For Elena, teaching has never been about rules or memorization. It’s about curiosity, emotion, and those small moments when a student suddenly feels the language, not just understands it.

Italingva is built around her vision: lessons that feel human, teachers who care, and a space where students don’t just study Italian — they grow into it, naturally and without pressure.

Anton

Co-Founder & Operations Director
In his role at Italingva, Anton oversees the technical and operational infrastructure of the school, ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and reliably, so your learning experience is seamless from start to finish.

Marta

Italian Teacher
The teacher who makes learning feel calm, human, and beautifully natural.

Marta places the student at the center of every lesson, tailoring each session to their interests, goals, and learning pace.

She believes that learning a language should feel enjoyable and motivating, so she creates a relaxed environment where mistakes aren’t stressful — they become opportunities to grow.

She holds a Master’s degree in Modern Languages and Literature for Cultural Services (Laurea Magistrale in Lingue e Letterature Moderne per i Servizi Culturali) from the University of Genoa, along with university credits in foreign language teaching.

Maria

Italian Teacher
The teacher who helps you speak with confidence — even when you doubt yourself.

She focuses on communication rather than perfection, helping learners use Italian in real-life situations and celebrating every step of their progress.
Education & Qualifications:
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Cultures from the University of Salerno, specializing in foreign language teaching and Italian as a second language, and a Master’s degree in Applied Neurosciences. Maura

Italian Teacher
The teacher who guides you gently, helping you grow step by step.

For Maura, teaching is not just explaining grammar rules — it’s guiding students through their learning journey. She creates a comfortable, supportive space where learners can explore the language at their own pace, express themselves freely, and experience Italian through real communication.

Her greatest satisfaction is seeing her students grow: gaining the skills to express who they are in Italian and using the language as a key to understanding Italian culture.
Education & Qualifications:
Maura holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Rome, a Master’s in ITALS for teaching and promoting Italian as a second language from the University of Venice, the DILS-II teaching certification from the University of Perugia, and accreditation as a CELI examiner.

Polina

Italian Teacher
The teacher who turns every lesson into a lively, joyful journey.

Polina sees language learning as an investment that goes far beyond ordering a coffee — it’s about connecting with people and feeling free from the limits you once had.

Her lessons are full of conversation: she works on pronunciation, uses real-life situations, and brings everyday stories and emotions into the classroom. Polina believes that learning Italian should feel like a wonderful journey — and she’s ready to guide you through it.
Education & Qualifications:
Polina studied Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation at the University of Milan and earned a degree in Foreign Language Teaching from Minsk State Linguistic University.

Lucia

Italian Teacher
The teacher who makes learning feel light, warm, and genuinely inspiring.

Lucia believes that language learning should feel both pleasant and meaningful.
In her lessons, she creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere where students feel at ease — free to smile, experiment, and grow without fear of making mistakes.
She brings a deep passion for languages into every session, helping learners stay motivated while ensuring the journey remains useful, structured, and truly enjoyable. For her, teaching means sharing curiosity, opening cultural doors, and supporting students with kindness and clarity.
Education & Qualifications:
Lucia completed her Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Translation at the University of Turin, specializing in English, Spanish and Russian. Her academic path reflects a strong commitment to languages, intercultural communication, and the art of helping students connect with Italian in a meaningful way.
Every teacher at Italingva shares one mission:
to make you fall in love with the language, understand the culture, and feel at home in Italy.
